Ever wondered what Brad Pitt did before becoming an actor (& Mr. Smith)? He drove strippers around town… “My job was to drive them to bachelor parties and things. I’d pick them up, and at the gig I’d collect the money, play the bad Prince tapes and catch the girls’ clothes. It was not a wholesome atmosphere, and it got very depressing,” he said to Newsweek annual Oscar roundtable this past Saturday in Hollywood.

He added “This girl – I’d never met her before – was in an acting class taught by a man named Roy London,” a famous acting coach, “I went and checked it out, and it really set me on the path to where I am now.”

Reports say that Angelina and Maddox spent over $700 for a 2 hour pitstop at a local Santa Monica beach hotel.

A source at the hotel reports that the two booked a room for just two hours so they could shower and freshen up. “Angelina said they only wanted the room for two hours — time enough for them both to take a shower,” he said. “She was very sweet and seemed like a concerned mom. It was just very bizarre, when she and Brad own two houses here in Los Angeles, that she would need to spend that kind of money on a hotel room just so she and Maddox could shower.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have found shelter from the media in New Orleans. The couple, who recently purchased a home in the city’s historic French Quarter confirmed to US Weekly yesterday that what seem to be a temporary move for the filming The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, may become a permanent move.

“We love it there. The kids are going to go to school there. We’re really looking forward to it,” said Angelina and a source commented that “She’s interested in befriending normal moms so she can do things with the kids.”

The couple have been involved in some of the rebuilding projects in town as part of Brad’s involvement with Global Green USA. They also stated that they would like to help raise awareness for the region, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

I’m not sure how old this interview, but it is the first time I saw it.

Angelina has been under contract with St. John since last summer. The contract, which included an ad campaign, also included a commitment that Angelina made to wear St. John’s clothes to all major red carpet events.

While most of us, simple people, are not going to complain is St. John gave us a few outfit to wear during the next year, Angelina seems to not have like the outfit provided to her for the Golden Globe Award show last night. According to PageSix, Angelina was “less than ecstatic with the clothes as of late,” and, “the St. John team has been working overtime to make her happy.” “She is definitely very particular,” said one fashion insider, who also revealed the star is fond of Kitson, Theory, and alice + olivia. “I am not at all surprised she is making them tweak things.”

Sometimes when one a huge celeb gives an interview, things are blown out of proportion and tend to be twisted in order to make even bigger headlines. This seems to be the case here as I would not believe any mother would say that, but Hello Magazine had analyzed Angelina’s recent Elle Magazine interview and brings it’s own twist to the interview.

According to this piece, Angelina never planned to have Shiloh, not with Brad, at least, they quote Angelina as saying “I wasn’t planning on getting pregnant,” she said, before joking: “I’m the one that got knocked up.”

They also add that Angelina’s feelings towards her kids are not the same. “I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much,” she said. “Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born. I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”

These pics are from the same afterparty as in this post. I found out that it is off the afterparty for the movie God Grew Tired of Us, Winner of both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.

The movie explores the indomitable spirit of three Lost Boys from the Sudan who leave their homeland, triumph over seemingly insurmountable adversities and move to America, where they build active and fulfilling new lives but remain deeply committed to helping the friends and family they have left behind. Orphaned by a tumultuous civil war and traveling barefoot across the sub-Saharan desert, John Bul Dau, Daniel Abol Pach and Panther Blor were among the 25,000(ages 3 to 13) who fled villages, formed surrogate families and sought refuge from famine, disease, wild animals and attacks from rebel soldiers. Named by a journalist after Peter Pans posse of orphans who protected and provided for each other, the Lost Boys traveled together for five years and against all odds crossed into the refugee camp in Kakuma, Kenya. A journey end for some, it was only the beginning for John,Daniel and Panther, who along with 3800 other young survivors, were selected tore-settle in the United States.
